The Teacher Factor Workshop

In the Teacher Factor workshops, we use a number of interactive and self-reflective tools to help equip you in your role as a teacher. 

First we use the growth assessment tool to identify eight key factors we bring to our teams and interactions with others. The tool also identifies your strengths and weaknesses within the group, giving you a tool to collaborate more effectively toward shared goals. 

Then we explore how student placement is a crucial factor in academic success and essential to a thriving school. It is a significant aspect of a student’s educational journey, playing a vital role in their academic, social, and personal growth. Proper placement ensures that students are challenged, supported, and nurtured in an environment that meets their unique needs, abilities, and learning styles. 

Next we use a reflections exercise that’s thoughtfully crafted to provide you with an insightful snapshot of your current strengths and highlight opportunities for growth. It serves as a valuable tool to help you recognize your natural tendencies and patterns, whether you are leading a team or facilitating learning as a teacher. 



Finally, we unpack a performance review tool that helps you assess teachers in your Christian schools, reinforcing the model and content of the Growing Forward book. You can use it during PD days, for individual staff mentoring, or during performance reviews to measure progress.
