Newmarket Christian Academy (NCA) is seeking a qualified Christian educator to join our team as a K-8 Music Teacher.

The role of Music Teacher at NCA requires:

Ability to teach vocal music, ukulele, and band instruments
Demonstrated knowledge of music theory and vocal ability
Background in Music (degree in Music Education, other music accreditation)
Technical knowledge and experience with production performance for events such as Christmas concerts, recitals etc. are highly valued
Knowledge of Ministry expectations for music grades K - 8 and OCT certification are an asset

The role of classroom Music Teacher is approximately a 50% teaching load. Private music lessons, as well as engagement in other areas of school life, are available for this to be a full -time position.
